Souk Al-Hamidiye
Departure to Souk Al-Hamidiye:
The most beautiful souk of Damascus. The largest and the central souk in Syria, located inside the old city of Damascus next to the Citadel.
The souq is about 600 meters (2,000 ft) long and 15 meters (49 ft) wide and is covered by a 10-meter (33 ft) tall metal arch; its shops display all sorts of goods, full of every type of shop imaginable it is a must visit place! Especially clothes, fabrics, pastries and handicrafts.
